"The Justice Department is Prosecuting an American for Election Interference—in 2016"

A newly announced criminal action by DOJ further highlights the use of strategic litigation to knock down people who spread misinformation, including people in the US said to be working with Russia. The criminal complaint is here, and DOJ's January 27, 2021 press release is online here.
