It’s a fractious world out there these days. Now we see the Pop Tort (October 7, 2014) delighting in various small, southern chambers of commerce filing an amicus brief at SCOTUS to push back against the US Chamber of Commerce for supporting BP, but not the little businesses. For a plaintiff’s lawyer, this is probably kind of similar to the joy plaintiffs often (but not always) can take in watching prosecution of cross-claims between defendants …
