Today, a bit of a deviation from the usual. Letters of Note is an interesting, occasional blog that publishes letters on a wide range of topics; some are by famous people and others not so famous. A recent post presents a letter written by miners to their loved ones shortly before they died in a 1902 disaster in Tennessee. It’s well worth reading for the human experience.
