More Evidence that Cyber Crime Was Eminently Foreseeable
Some proclaim cyber-crime was not foreseeable and a black swan. The claim is not true. As noted before in this August 7, 2014 post, the first Black Hat conference on hackers dates back to 1997. For a broader history, see “An Honest History of Hacking,” a paid item at the Wall Street Journal from Bitdefender. The litigation industry no doubt is grateful for failure to block the problems, leading to the current fiascos.
