A new NPR story asks: "Where Did All the Cigarette Money Go?" It’s interesting, and briefly highlights some of the major flaws in the deal and its lack of positive impact on health.

The tobacco deal remains one of the worst – and most legally suspect – settlements in history. Tobacco lawyers cashed in and big tobacco ensured its future survival, as well as supposedly obtaining immunity from future suits.
