Stark Data - World Cancer Day

For World Cancer Day, it seems the right time to highlight some of the stark data on expected future cancers around the globe. Regardless of what one thinks of IARC's research and papers on cancer causation, no one seems to seriously dispute IARC's projections for future cancers.
This page of the IARC web site includes interactive tools that allow the user to define numerous criteria that can narrow or expand the scope of an estimate of future cancers. Set out below is a stark, graphic view of the millions of cancers ahead if one uses broad criteria:
