PET Scans Now Provide Physical Proof of Chemobrain

For decades, persons going through chemotherapy have reported “chemobrain,” meaning mental impairment arising after or during chemoetherapy. Now, PET scans of persons going through chemotherapy are providing physical proof that "chemobrain" is very real for some (not all) of the persons facing journeys through chemotherapy.

Chalk up another way that new tools are proving the existence of previously “intangible” injury that some denied.
