Asbestos bankruptcy on NPR – the story is not very analytic or useful, but the topic is out there. Note especially NPR’s label: the "murky world of asbestos litigation."

As I’ve been saying for years, there is a cure: transparency. But lots of constituencies do not want real transparency across all of asbestos litigation. Those constituencies include some (not all) plaintiff’s lawyers, insurers, futures representatives, asbestos trustees, defendants, expert witnesses and legislators.
