Covid's Evolution Highlights the Value of Genomic Epidemiology for Covid Risk Analyses

Genomic epidemiology continues to prove its importance.Researchers using genomic analyses tools are finding much more of the "G" version of the Covid virus, as reported in a WaPo article on June 29, 2020. The G version appears to do a better job at infecting people. Thus, the mutation, and the genomic epidemiology, could shift the risks to be managed.
